When servicing massive commercial truck and bus fleets, standard balancing equipment simply cannot handle the extreme weight and dimensions required. The PULI PL-1500 is explicitly engineered to tackle these heavy-duty applications. What makes this model unique is its incredibly compact footprint. Despite being able to balance massive 150 kg (330 lbs) commercial wheels, the machine is designed to be easily fitted into equipped mobile service vehicles for external use or placed in commercial shops where space is at a premium.
Because commercial wheels are dangerous to lift manually, the PL-1500 comes standard with an integrated pneumatic tire lifting device. This allows a single operator to roll the tire onto the platform and raise it safely to the heavy-duty main shaft without straining their back. Once the tire is mounted, the operator manually inputs the distance and diameter data to access multiple specialized balancing modes tailored for different heavy tires. To ensure long-term reliability in harsh shop environments, the internal computer is equipped with automatic self-calibration and self-diagnosis functions.
To guarantee perfect weight placement on such massive rims, the PL-1500 features a specialized manual brake pedal. This allows the technician to lock the heavy wheel firmly in place the moment the exact imbalance point is located, preventing the heavy tire from rolling while the weight is applied. Built with a reinforced steel bottom to ensure cabinet stability during the spinning cycle, it is the ultimate workhorse for commercial tire specialists.
