Because it is an alignment-specific lift, the PL-FS50 is fully loaded with specialized runway features. The rear of the runways are equipped with built-in, low-friction slide plates that allow the vehicle’s rear suspension to relax perfectly during caster/camber adjustments. The front of the runways feature adjustable recessed cutouts, allowing you to easily drop in different sizes of alignment turn-plates flush with the runway surface. Furthermore, this lift comes standard with a heavy-duty central rolling jack, allowing technicians to lift the vehicle off the runways entirely for wheels-free brake, tire, and suspension work.
Underneath the heavy steel construction lies a highly advanced, ultra-safe lifting mechanism. The structure utilizes thickened steel cables routed through oversized pulleys located safely under the runways, completely protected from dirt and shop debris. Operator safety is guaranteed through a redundant system: each of the four columns is equipped with its own main mechanical safety lock, backed up by an independent rope-break insurance mechanism.
