LEO XKS-SW Series Stainless Steel Dirty Water Submersible Pumps (Models XKS-750SW & XKS-1000SW)
When you are dealing with flooded construction trenches, muddy basements, or agricultural sumps, standard clear-water pumps will instantly clog and burn out. The LEO XKS-SW Series is specifically engineered to handle the harsh reality of dirty water. A heavy-duty powerhouse in the Afrogulf drainage catalog, the “SW” designation indicates its specialized vortex impeller design. This allows the pump to easily swallow and expel highly contaminated water containing suspended solids, mud, and soft debris up to 35mm in diameter without jamming.
To survive these brutal pumping conditions, the entire outer casing, handle, and base are constructed from premium AISI 304 stainless steel. This metallic armor provides vastly superior impact resistance compared to plastic pumps and completely prevents rust during long-term submersion. The system is fully automated by an integrated float switch. As floodwaters rise, the switch floats up and engages the powerful copper-wound motor. Once the muddy water is successfully drained, the switch drops and cuts the power, ensuring the pump never runs dry.
